General Information Tornado Shelter
Securall Storm Shelters are available in 4 convenient sizes; 4’x4’, 4’x6’, 4’x8’, and 4’x10’. These units are designed to comfortably fit in your garage while allowing for plenty of space to store your vehicles and other items. At a mere 4 feet deep, these units can be easily placed out of the way in your garage or basement. The heavy duty roof allows for storage on top of the shelter which helps to maintain the maximum storage potential for your space.
Securall Storm Safe Rooms are built for mobility. Should you decide to change residences in the future you can simply unbolt the shelter and take it with you. Or, leave it and use it as a unique selling feature adding value to the property.
Securall Storm Safe rooms are designed to be conveniently placed in your garage or basement. They will also work outdoors on a cement pad next to your house or barn, should you prefer. These units arrive completely assembled for easy installation. All you need to do is place and bolt down. With heavy-duty bolt down anchors to hold it in place, and sturdy steel walls capable of resisting the strongest storm winds and debris impacts, these units provide emergency shelter when and where you need it, which during a tornado is HERE AND NOW!!
We offer 4 standard sizes with occupancies ranging from 4 to 10 adult persons (larger and custom sizes are available). These units are constructed of 12 gauge, formed steel wall sections which are welded together for ultimate strength. The roof is constructed in the same fashion and is also welded to the rest of the structure. High-capacity bolt down anchors provide for proper anchoring to your concrete surface.
A heavy-duty door allows for easy access while also providing sturdy resistance to high winds and debris impacts. 2 deadbolts and a strong, lockable lever style handle, all keyed alike, secure this door. A standard view lite with hinged cover allows for a look into the outside world to help you determine when it is safe to open the door.

Code Compliance & Storm Shelter
Securall Storm Safe rooms are built in accordance with specifications set forth by FEMA, the National Storm Shelter Association (NSSA), and the International Code Council (ICC). These organizations are currently the leading authorities establishing guidelines dictating the design and build of storm shelters. Our shelters comply with the recommendations established in the documents: FEMA 320 - Taking Shelter from the Storm (written in conjunction with Texas Tech's Wind Engineering Research Center) and ICC-500.

Shipping & Installation of a Storm Shelter
All Securall Tornado Safe Rooms are shipped fully assembled and come delivered on a standard skid right to your home or business. We wrap all of our products in bubble and shrink wraps to ensure a safe and prompt delivery. Lightweight enough to move on standard pallet jacks, these units are mobile and easy to maneuver.
Installation is a quick and easy process. Simply decide where you are going to place the unit and drill your anchor holes spaced accordingly to your bolt down brackets. Next move the shelter to the location and bolt it down. At that point you have a safe and secure location for you and your family to seek refuge during extreme weather episodes.
